वनरक्षक (Forest Guard) और क्षेत्ररक्षक की भर्ती MPESB करता है, और 2026 में यह भर्ती जेल प्रहरी व सहायक जेल अधीक्षक के साथ संयुक्त परीक्षा के रूप में हुई। चयन दो चरणों में होता है: पहले ऑनलाइन लिखित परीक्षा, फिर शारीरिक दक्षता परीक्षण (PPT)। आयु, ऊँचाई-सीना और दौड़ के मानक उस साल की नियम-पुस्तिका में दिए जाते हैं — किसी पुराने साल या दूसरे राज्य के आँकड़ों पर भरोसा न करें।Forest Guard (Van Rakshak) and Kshetra Rakshak recruitment is run by MPESB, and in 2026 it was held as a combined exam with Jail Prahari and Assistant Jail Superintendent. Selection has two stages: an online written exam, then a Physical Proficiency Test (PPT). Age, height/chest and running standards are set in that year’s rulebook — don’t rely on figures from another year or state.

- Written exam: held in June 2026. The second shift of 07.06.2026 was suspended because of a technical problem and re-held on 20.06.2026, 10 am to 12 noon.

वन विभाग के 02.04.2026 के पत्र के बाद MPESB ने संशोधन (16.04.2026) जारी किया — वनरक्षक के अब कुल 1,111 पद हैं: 1,007 सीधी भर्ती और 104 बैकलॉग (पहले 728 पद विज्ञापित थे)। सीधी भर्ती के पद: अनारक्षित 213, SC 165, ST 289, OBC 229, EWS 111; इनमें से 11 पद राष्ट्रीय/अंतर्राष्ट्रीय उत्कृष्ट खिलाड़ियों के लिए। बैकलॉग: SC 42, ST 59, OBC 3। यह संयुक्त परीक्षा है — साथ में क्षेत्ररक्षक 169, जेल प्रहरी 757 और सहायक जेल अधीक्षक 25 पद, कुल 2,062।
After the Forest Department’s letter of 02.04.2026, MPESB issued an amendment (16.04.2026) — Forest Guard now has 1,111 posts in all: 1,007 direct and 104 backlog (728 were advertised at first). Direct posts: UR 213, SC 165, ST 289, OBC 229, EWS 111, of which 11 are for outstanding national/international sportspersons. Backlog: SC 42, ST 59, OBC 3. वनरक्षक का फिजिकल टेस्ट कैसे होता है?How does the Forest Guard physical test work?
शारीरिक माप के बाद पैदल चाल: पुरुष को 4 घंटे में 25 किलोमीटर, महिला को 4 घंटे में 14 किलोमीटर। यह केवल अर्हता (qualifying) के लिए है, इसके अंक नहीं मिलते। पैदल चाल शुरू होने से 60 मिनट पहले पहुँचें; शुरू होने के 30 मिनट बाद आने वाले को भाग लेने नहीं दिया जाता, और देर से शुरू करने पर अतिरिक्त समय नहीं मिलता।
After the physical measurements comes the walking test: men walk 25 km in 4 hours, women 14 km in 4 hours. It is qualifying only — no marks. Arrive 60 minutes before the start; anyone who comes more than 30 minutes after the start is not allowed to take part, and a late start gets no extra time.
वनरक्षक के लिए योग्यता और आयु सीमा क्या है?What are the qualification and age limit for Forest Guard?
योग्यता: म.प्र. माध्यमिक शिक्षा मंडल या मान्यता प्राप्त संस्था से 10वीं पास (हाईस्कूल)। आयु (01.01.2026 को): न्यूनतम 18 वर्ष; अधिकतम — सामान्य रूप से 33 वर्ष, और महिला (अनारक्षित), म.प्र. के SC/ST/OBC पुरुष/महिला, शासकीय सेवक, निगम/मंडल/स्वायत्तशासी संस्था कर्मी और नगर सैनिक के लिए 38 वर्ष। आयु की छूट केवल म.प्र. के मूल निवासियों को है, और म.प्र. रोज़गार कार्यालय में जीवित पंजीयन अनिवार्य है।
Qualification: Class 10 pass (High School) from the MP Board of Secondary Education or a recognised institution. Age (on 01.01.2026): at least 18; upper limit 33 in general, and 38 for women (UR), MP SC/ST/OBC men and women, government servants, corporation/board/autonomous-body staff and home guards. Age relaxation is only for MP domiciles, and live registration with the MP employment exchange is mandatory.

लिखित परीक्षा MPESB लेता है — 100 अंक, 2 घंटे, प्रश्न-पत्र हिंदी/अंग्रेज़ी में। वेतनमान ₹19,500–62,000। चयन ज़िलेवार होता है — फ़ॉर्म में जिन ज़िलों का प्राथमिकता क्रम दिया, मेरिट के अनुसार उन्हीं में से एक ज़िला मिलता है।
MPESB runs the written exam — 100 marks, 2 hours, paper in Hindi/English. Pay scale ₹19,500–62,000. Selection is district-wise — you get one of the districts you ranked in your form, by merit.
